MY FEAR

DAQUAY ATCHERSON

When no one cares
the world seems colder.
In the face of fear
I'm not stronger but bolder.

I know in my heart
I have nothing to loose.
So when death comes toward me
I don't even move.

Too hurt by the pain,
and consumed by the anger.
My mind only cares
when surrounded by danger.

Reckless and numb concealing my fate.
Standing there watching my pain turn to hate.

In this cold world
filled with killers and liars.
My pain is my weakness,
but my rage is my power.

My rage is what drives me.
It replaces no care.
Though that hate is what drives me,
that hate is my fear.

Great poem. Expresses my exact sentiment.
