A Girls Worst Nightmare

Her innocence,
Stolen.
Her hope,
Broken.

Beaten and bruised.
Battered and broken.
it all hurts the same,
And its always unspoken.

Tied to a cross,
We cried for shattered souls.
For the ones who didn't,
Were known as trolls.

Sun is shining,
But her heart is aching.
Nobody can tell,
That we are breaking.

Convinced we sinned,
Drowned in vain.
Let us help you,
We don't like your pain.

Laughing in their face,
She ran from the chase.
Of an empty girl,
Who someone attempted to save.

And instead of helping,
They banished her soul.
And told her she was the devil.
Called a fool,
Told she sinned.
Didn't bat an eye,
When blame was pinned.

Tagged with innocence,
They got away.
They didn't care,
Nor did they stray.
Away from the fact that she was afraid.

For it brought them joy,
Seeing her tears.
Made her remember,
All her worst fears.

Drowned in her mind,
Suffocated with regret.
Didn't know how,
To forget.

This poem totally describes me..
Very well said. Couldn't have said it any better. I loved it, no words to describe how great this poem is.
