Darkness...

Hazel

As the darkness takes me,
enfolds me in its arms,
tears come fast,
hot and strong.

The sky is a vase,
of purest black,
the moon is obscured,
by clouds that crack.

tear drops glimmer,
as the moment starts to pass,
as the knife slices,
red shines bold as brass.

the darkness is so,
hard to control,
but it is fragile,
and can break with a glow.

It can crack into,
a million shards,
of sharp light,
and jagged glass.

So darkness is me,
and I, it,
embrace the feeling,
of drowning in a pit.

Depression is,
my only friend,
and I'll carry it with me,
to the very end.
