You got some good imagery in this one! Its shorter than some I've seen of you, but this poem still packs a punch. Nice work!! ^_^
Thanks! And I will. Don't you worry!!! ;D
Thanks! And as always you do fantastic work as well! Cheers!! ^_^
@speterson085: Thanks! ^_^
Thanks! I'm sorry that you are having a tough time in your life right now. I'm 21, and life is still a challenge for me. Its gets better though! Just keep it moving. ;D
Terrific poem! Lots of imagery here. ^_^
Oh, how delicious is the dark satire here! A nice sing-song touch with the rhyming as well. :D
Thank you! :D
Groovy! ;)
Beautifully written! It reminds me of a type of savage, dark nature that extends from our fractured psyche concerning all that is unknown, yet hauntingly familiar. Death become's the only safe-haven for the narrator of the story who has been yearning for an escape; a fate that is already accepted, and so easily, as it were an old friend.
I love this poem a lot! It hits home for me, as it seems to reflect my personal shortcomings, my haughty arrogance for the world, and the quest to find somewhere and/or someone who accepts all of that.
That ending. WOW! An excellent rhyme scheme as well. Nicely done!
Awesome! The imagery you've managed to create really invokes the desolate feeling found within the lonely streets the narrator is forced to tread. It's almost like I walked the same streets and felt/heard the same raindrops as I read this.
I love this! The atheist feeling from this poem is spot on; a mocking, brutal, matter-of-fact, and sarcastic observation of an all knowing God who ought to do more to ease our sufferings. But all of the worship and kiss ass won't stop a holocaust, or a war...
