Dark Ghost and Scary Movies
Dark Movies is one category which can easily combine all the elements of darkness. It can have dark arts, dark music, dark songs, stories and everything in between. Movies can give you a so powerful emotion like nothing else. That's why we have given some special preferences to this category. In this section you will find three different genres. These are 'Dark', 'Ghost' and 'Scary' movies. Below you will find a little description of these genres.
Dark Movies
Dark movies are movies which contains some dark plot and its element. Most people confuse it with horror, ghost or scary movies. But that is wrong. 'Dark movies' is an independent genre. A movie can be dark without having to deal anything with ghost or scariness. One good example is the movie 'A Tale of Two Sisters', which does not have ghost in it. However we have listed it as a dark movie because the plot of this movie is very dark and twisted. If you want to filter all the movies by dark movies then click on the tag that says 'Dark'.
Ghost Movies
I guess the name really says it all. Ghost Movies are those movies which are dealing with ghostly entities. However we do not collect all ghost movies. Our preferences are for those ghost movies which also contains dark plot and elements. In Lover of Darkness you can consider ghost movies as a sub genre of Dark movies. Scary Movies
Scary movies goes head to head with ghost movies. Most ghost movies are scary movies but not all scary movies are ghost movies. Hence we have put it as a separate genre. Scary movies are movies that send the fear in your mind. Just like ghost movies in our website all the scary movies are also a sub genre of Dark movies.
