The Sage

Slipping into eternal endlessness,
My sacrifice rightfully accepted.
I feel free and weightless,
for flesh and bones now forever rested.

Disconnected from the world of living
I pay no heed to its desires.
Chambers of the mind now free beyond believing,
which once infested with grim layers.

I travel with the swift wind,
the corners of the forest within my reach.
I have left time and space behind,
Left behind senses and speech.

I feel one with the forest essence,
years pass as I gather form.
Mortals that venture in these woods,
flee from the sense of my presence.

My Pursuit of questions unanswered,
Leads me to an unreachable end.
For a millennia passes as I wonder,
But this forest I cannot comprehend.

As I drift towards the Mighty Vatamula,
I am engulfed by the divine light.
I sense a spirit far stronger than me,
It draws me near to witness the sight.

My wondering for a million years has come to an end,
For now I stand before the almighty Sage.
Grants me a vision to sense my journey has just begun,
lifts me in his wake to enter the brand new age.
