Machine

We all live in a world where darkness is falling,
We all live in a world where no one is calling,
We all want things that have no mental gain,
Because of our greed we give pestilence, death and pain.

In a world with slave drivers telling you how to live,
In a broken society that refuses the audacity to give,
"Because I said so", the phrase of no reason,
They say they give you liberty, but it's only laws without season.

Don't listen to these people, tell you what to do, what to think, and what to feel,
They treat us like machines, liveless,
We aren't even real.

Machine men with machine minds,
Machine hearts,
Taking your chances to live free,
Like a game of darts.

Live your life, not by book or law,
You won't make it far, your life will be raw,
Be the rebel, show them you are the prestines,
Live life as people, not as machines.
