Yin and Yang, Hot and Cold, the Heads and Tails of a coin. Everything has an opposite, it's a plain as "Day and Night" so why must the majority of people delude themselves and others into thinking the hold only Light?
all these blissfully ignorant to the bad around them "live life to the fullest people", nothing but smiles on their faces. It's enough to make you gag, I don't know how anyone can be that content with the state of existence....still, it must be nice to be full of fire while some of us are grasping at embers....
Today things are different. The darkness in the outside world has vanished, but the darkness in our hearts remains, virtually unchanged. Just like an iceberg, what we label the ego or consciousness is, for the most part, sunk in darkness. And that estrangement sometimes creates a deep contradiction or confusion within us.
A man can no more diminish God's glory by refusing to worship Him than a lunatic can put out the sun by scribbling the word, 'darkness' on the walls of his cell.
