Bitter Truth

Your Worst Nightmare

26 Feb, 2013 09:41 PM
Do you want truth?
Do you want pain?
Do you want guilt?
Is this what you want, fame?

Well let me tell you something
Sympathy won't get you anywhere
People have dealt through great losses
And you mock them

We're like dolls attached to string
Dancing up, moving down
You may be the puppeteer
But the show is ours

You won't be in control for very long
We who have dealt through pain, will get our gain
We will get revenge
We will rebel

Do you really want pain?
Do you really want loss?
Maybe we can arrange that
You and me, four o' clock?

There are people with deformations
There are people who starve
And you, in silk dresses, and nice and warm scarves

Don't pretend you know us
Don't pretend you care
Because we all know, on the inside
You're cold, wretched
Not in misery, or despair

Do you think you could've tricked us?
Do you think we were so foolish?
Well you don't need to go that far
Slit wrists, are you a lunatic?

Posers and attention seekers
I guess they're all the same
But in the end, no one knew
That it was all, just a game
