Dark Hearts

Darkness

09 Apr, 2016 07:28 AM
When the fires glow unleashes
Then the story has its end
It lets the pride stay in pieces
That is what they will send

Lighting death in every way
Will let the ghosts come to life
So they burn through the day.
Within in their hearts darkness sharp as a knife

Lives rotting on the ground
Hanging in the air the smell of death

Dead Night

06 May, 2014 02:37 PM
I Open My Eyes,
All I See Is Darkness.
Not That I Expected Something Else,
The Light Is Already Out In My Eyes,
All I See Is Darkness.

Not That I Care.
It's Better This Way,
No More Crying,
No More Hiding,
No More Hope For A Miracle,

Billy Maires

LilRebel Villa

I once knew a kid, whose name was Billy Maires
And what he loved to do most, was set lot’s of fires
Big or small, it all didn’t matter
As long as they caused some sort of disaster

And if he told his mom otherwise, she called him a liar
But on day, his mom got tired
Of dealing with such a so called “liar”
So she picked up the phone, and called an officer
But fortunately for Billy, the court ruled in his favor
And since his mom filed a “false report” she was put in correctional center

Darkness and light

Danica bowe

02 Aug, 2014 12:25 AM
Darkness is what balances our light
But the absent of that light
Only our darkness is left,
An that darkness is what keeps us up at night
Trying to keep out demons at bay

But with in time the monster will come to play.
Our most scariest monsters
Are the ones that lurk in our souls of black
All secretly hoping for our light back.

To crack through our doorway of black

Monster of the Id

Andy

11 Oct, 2015 01:06 PM
Its defining feature is invisible,
A fringe beyond which we cannot pass,
And a boundary from which nothing can emerge.

Sound silently fades
To the stifled gasp of intensified realization,
Of bated breath swallowed whole by heightened fear.

Time stands still and midnight yields,
Baleful eyes blush red like coals,
Darkening, they fix on you from the corner of the room.

Tombstones For Eyes

Mario Vitale

07 Jun, 2017 03:18 AM
We search for solace amidst the crowd to appease
One day we shall all bow humbly to our knees
The land is dark without the sun to light
When this life is over there is no double feature
Shades of black decorated the plate of mast
Silence etched it's beckoning call asunder
Tombstones for eyes does this come at a big surprise
Can't we ever see through the devil's lies
We live in a land where cash is king
No chance at heart to let the freedom ring
In silence we get a glimpse of what it is to come
Blackened hearts of evil that plug destruction

Black Tree's

Austin Jones

26 Apr, 2015 01:43 AM
The darkness surrounds me
Like a forest
Of black tree's
But in the clearing

There is a light
That Shines
Brighter than Bright
It shall guide me
So that I may fly

Away from this place

My Darkness

Midnight Blood

20 Feb, 2014 06:54 AM
I was in Darkness many a time
And each time I could find light
If I looked hard enough
But this is different
This darkness gets thicker and thicker
For each step is a step away from light
Soon it will be too late
And I don't mind
The Darkness is my friend
It is my companion when I have none
I feel at ease within the Dark
It is where I belong

Gothic Darkness

Mario Vitale

07 Jun, 2017 03:16 AM
Pillars in light fashionable decorum sets the standard
Those high rise structures with heavenly interior
The holy oblation lead to the ultimate construction
In matters of trust we can maintain a humane aura
A heart that devised the good of humanities stake & claim
An old lady named Grier used to live in it's dwelling
A structure well kept yet needs a fix up with the plumbing
Grier used to frequent her yard with it's barbed wire fence
Tragedy had claimed her late husband's life that left her alone
She carries on with a smile in her lone desolation
A mere place for rest like a long awaited vacation
With sincere love in her heart she would often sing

Darkness

Raine

The world is dark
With shadows
From hidden light

The light we search for
The light we all crave
All of us.
Everyone.
But me.

This light you wish for
How are we to know
